Call your elected officials at the state capitol this week 

Tell them to Work on Balancing the Budget by making the cuts that are needed instead of cutting services that help our families.

Now is the time for our elected officials to get to work towards starting the much needed downsizing of our government. 

They can start by cutting the extra expenses that they have forced us to pay for like big cuts to the CEP Program. 

The CEP aka Citizens Election Program gives taxpayer money to the candidates that have "qualified" by raising certain levels of money. The amount varies by race & party but the amounts are in the hundreds of thousands of dollars for state senate & state rep positions & in the millions for the statewide races.

That money can be better spent making certain that we have the needed services for the families that are needed to meet Basic Needs.

Democrat Debates are few & far between 
The Leadership of the democrats are desperate to keep them that way to limit the choices of the voters.

Most of the democrats haven't got the slightest idea about what their candidates stand for at this point in time & the few that are semi-educated about what they have been told what the "issues" are really haven't looked into the actual issues.

When asked most democrat registered voters haven't bothered to ask the important questions about the programs proposed are supposed to work since these programs do have to be paid for in some manner...

Cutting honor guards?

The mere fact that it came out of their mouths & made it to paper is proof that these career democrat politicians which enjoy their wealth because veterans have fought & died (& still do) to protect our country & state have no respect or regard for our CT Veterans.

On this Memorial Day remember while you watch these democrats walking & waving in parades all smiles that they would deny our Veterans the Last Show of Honor & Respect that is due to them & Turn Your Back or Thumbs Down them.

Ask Questions Then Ponder the Answers Windsor Voters

I was watching the people who came in & went into the polling station in Windsor on Tuesday May 12th

& it was interesting to see just how many people who showed up to vote actually didn't even know why they were there & what the answers would mean if they made one of 2 choices

A YES vote = Higher Taxes due to the Board of Ed's Outrageous Spending

A No Vote = There has to be a new look at the budget by the Town Council & Board of Ed

Have you taken the time to look at the budget & question the items which the Board of Ed has  demanded for us to pay & asked "WHY"?

Do you know what our Board of Ed is spending the money on? Take a minute to consider what Jonathan Pelto (a democrat) has to say about what is happening across the state in regards to the expensive, abusive, experimental program called Common Core...

Can you afford an out of control Board of Ed that spends money without consideration of the costs for both our taxpaying families now but also in the future 3, 5 even 10 years down the road?

Can you afford to allow an out of control Board of Ed to experiment with your children's education with implementing programs that do not work & are profiting big corporations but giving our children a substandard education as is being proven time & again with the common core nt only here in Windsor but across the nation?

Can you afford to not start asking questions about why the Board of Ed so divided & why the democrats are refusing to answer the questions that the republican BoE members are asking?

Can you afford to keep granting more & more money to the Board of Ed when they are mismanaging the money they already been given over the years?

If you are tired of paying more & more in taxes while not seeing results in education & reductions in town services then it is time for you to call the town hall & tell them to #StopTheOutOfControlBoardOfEd & make cuts to the budget on the Board of Ed side of the budget & Vote NO until we have a Zero Based Budget that clearly states where the money is being spent & explains exactly where the money is going

Lawmakers split on bill banning felons from public office

CT has the nick name of "Corrupticut" like a mini version of "Chicago Politics".
CT used to have respectable names like "The Armory" "The Provisioning" & "The Constitution" state sadly now that is no longer true of us.

It quite notable that it's the career democrats in the general assembly that want to keep the convicted criminal politicians able to rejoin them after they get out of jail.

Sad is the fact there was a need for this bill to have been put forward, depressing is the fact that there is even a debate on a bill which should have had an Unanimous vote to pass.

EVERY Bus Goes to Hartford- What's the Point? Chasze Green-Fastrak Launc...

Much Fanfare & Hype was made in promoting the mismanaged transportation tax dollars that was spent in "building" the project affectionately called the "BusWay to NoWhere".

To help jumpstart the ridership the launch week was a "Free Ride for Everyone" & of course all of the news stations had their reporters taking the buses to assist in the promotions. 

Where there are cameras there have also been known to appear some elected officials... who of course want to justify the money spent...
You know; to dig up a historical old cemetery for the buses to ride through & turn our historical landscapes into very poor imitations of Any Big City USA. 

Sadly CT suffers from Big City Envy instead of celebrating it's historical richness & boosting Tourism... but that is a whole other post for another day



With FREE RIDES being offered all Launch Week you would think that all of the buses would be filled with thrilled happy riders as the politicians said they would be...

Well problem with the politicians & the people who were getting rich on the BusWay to NoWhere project is that none of them RIDE the buses to begin with!
They do not understand what it's like to wait for a bus in the bitter cold with 2 children to know where & when to make the routes!
They do not have the slightest clue of where people want to go nor the times that people want to travel to those places... 
Why because they do not live among us. 
They drive fancy expensive cars to their offices not ride the buses with us so they do not care about what WE The People Need or Want!

Talking tax hikes at state capitol = Bad News for Our Families

Like crack addicted fiends the democrats can't get enough of our hard earned money fast enough to satisfy their addiction to spending money on crazy wasteful projects designed to make their corporate friends richer.

Ever notice that our career democrat politicians never once suggest cutting their own salaries, in fact quite the opposite is true they give themselves raises & perks. 
Our state is in deep debt & the governor gives raises to his favorite friends as a reward for helping him & crew get back into office. 

CT is on the verge of bankruptcy & the democrats go shopping for additional wasteful projects to try to justify borrowing more money to get us in more debt which of course means more taxes on our families.

Stadium tax plan has lawmakers crying "foul ball"

Again the Tax & Spend Democrats in Hartford have once more figured out how to make their Billionaire Friends even richer at the expense of hardworking taxpayers...

While school children in Hartford have failing schools & several buildings in need of repairs & upgrades that the city officials can't find the money to correct, they have time & money to give special deals for the baseball corporation to get corporate welfare handouts? 
With all of the extra expenses who is going to attend these baseball games with it's added taxes?
