THE STATE OF BLACK HARTFORD - UNCENSORED - 8/18/2016 -

It's 2 years later and what positive changes have been made and what is still needing to be done?

What are you doing to make things better in the city and our state?

What changes would you like to see and how would you implement those changes?

Why were there UnContested Races in CT in 2016?

I originally wrote this post in 2016 have you noticed any changes to speak of in CT Politics?

Have the RTCs dedicated themselves towards actually doing some things differently?

Maybe even starting with the leadership of those RTCs due to needing to update the local party with new ideas?

Have the campaigns started working TOGETHER instead of only working with "the sure winner" as an attempt to grow the party in CT like is being done in other parts of the country?

Below is a copy and paste of what I originally wrote in 2016...

^*^*^*^*^*^ From 2016 Post ^*^*^*^*^

It is true there are too many UnContested Races in CT's General Assembly this year & in years past & if things do not change this will be the future as well...

The July 21st article in the Hartford Courant  http://www.courant.com/opinion/op-ed/hc-ed-too-many-ct-seats-uncontested-0721-20160720-story.html

points out that "due to apathy" & "lack of leadership" seats are going uncontested during a year when there should be not only full ballots but also high voter turnout since it is a presidential election year

Copied & pasted from the article
"What a shame, then, that more than 25 percent of the House seats will go unchallenged by a major-party candidate, along with four seats in the Senate."

& also this from the article
16 Democrats will run unopposed by a Republican, nearly all of them incumbents, according to preliminary information from the secretary of the state's office. "

Shame on the local party leadership for not running full tickets;
but also shame on the cities & towns people that have not stepped up to run for office.

"We the People" means that each citizen has a responsibility to take some small part in running the country;
That means not just showing up once every couple of years to vote a party line without knowing what the issues are but attending town & even state level meetings at the town halls & state capitol.

What are You going to do to change the "defeatist" attitude that is running rampant in our state?

What are You going to do to help #FlipTheGeneralAssembly ?

The Story Of Kwanzaa: From Civil Rights To Corporate America

Next week will be the start of the Kwanzaa celebration which starts on Dec 26th. Kwanzaa is an African-American holiday that is celebrated during the week after Christmas ending on New Years Day in many African-American communities.

It has been more of a Community Celebration than a Private Family Celebration for the majority of people that our family has known in these modern times. A time of reflection & respecting our elders & enjoying  our neighbors, community members, friends, blood family our wider circle of unrelated but we consider them to be family.

The intent of the celebration is to encourage & instill positive values from the elders to the younger generations as well as foster a sense of belonging in the community. Many community celebrations have a marketplace area to not only buy items but additionally connect people with community services that they may have been unaware of.

Have you been to a Community Kwanzaa Celebration in your area?

The video below explains some of the history of Kwanzaa

I originally wrote this post in 2016 but have you noticed any changes to speak of in CT Politics?

Have the campaigns started working TOGETHER instead of only working with "the sure winner" as an attempt to grow the party in CT like is being done in other parts of the country?

Below is what I originally wrote in 2016... are things improving as we look ahead to next week and next year?

Why are they NOT Fighting for CT Families;

Why is Taxpayers Money going into their Campaign Coffers more important than...

Fwd: Malloy Budget Mess

URGENT ALERT!

I'm forwarding this press release from the
CT GOP Chairman JR Romano
because it's Very Important - URGENT
that you know what is coming in #MalloysMess

I've highlighted in Bold & Yellow the outrageous cuts that Malloy has in store for our families.

Urgent Action on your part is required: You need to Call the office of the governor and tell him that what he is planning is not acceptable and tell him to #StopHurtingFamilies

Once again this is an attack on our poor working families in CT! While the budget protects the cronies who got him elected; our families, our veterans, our seniors, our children are all under attack in this plan! Our most vulnerable who can't afford to send lots of money to the democrat election coffers are being attacked by these DANGEROUS Cuts.!

Malloy is STEALING Our Taxes to pay off his Special Interest Groups and keep the special projects that benefit his crony friends! Malloy is clearly showing that he
Does NOT CARE ABOUT OUR FAMILIES!!

Another example of just how devoid of empathy and out of touch these democrats are in CT and across the land.

Dan Malloy's "Mini-Budget" Is A Slap in The Face For the People of Connecticut

HARTFORD –  After failing to build a consensus for a bipartisan budget deal to address the massive deficit caused by his disastrous tax-and-spend policies, Democrat governor Dan Malloy is putting forth<http://portal.ct.gov/Office-of-the-Governor/Press-Room/Press-Releases/2017/06-2017/Gov-Malloy-Releases-Detailed-July-1-Spending-Plan-Alongside-Proposed-Mini-Budget-Alternative> a "Resource Allocation Plan" to put in place with the expectation that he will not be able to pass a budget.

But while Malloy's plan protects his big union allies, it leaves the rest of Connecticut out to dry, making massive cuts to education funding, law enforcement, much needed aid for cities and towns across the state, and even ethics funding despite having himself been the subject of an investigation.

Here are just some of the main items for the most recent item of Dan Malloy's catastrophic agenda for Connecticut:

>   $7.4 million in cuts to Care4Kids TANF/CCDF

>   $14,804,521 in cuts to Temporary Family Assistance

>   $175,523 in cuts to the Election Enforcement Commission

>   $15,698 in cuts to the Office of State Ethics (B-9)

>   Eliminates property tax relief for veterans

>   $3,324,998 in cuts to the Division of Criminal Justice

>   Eliminates funding for Connecticut's Youth Employment Program and Opportunities for Long Term Unemployed

>   Eliminates funding for the Office of Protection and Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities

>   Eliminates Department of Social Services funding for Protective Services for the Elderly

>   Cuts $515,833,717 in Department of Education funding for Education Equalization Grants

>   Cuts $1,212,066 in Department of Education funding for the American School for the Deaf

>   Cuts $42,337,171 in Department of Education funding for priority school districts

>   Cuts $28,701,582 in funding for the University of Connecticut

>   Cuts $14,774,971 in funding for the University of Connecticut Health Center

>   Adds $278,267,000 in retirement contributions for the Teacher's Retirement Board

>   Increases spending on debt service by $304,937,812

>   Keeps $293,577,508 in reserve for salary adjustments

West Hartford Town Hall - Bronin Pushing Regionalism - Ed Peruta Off the Cuff

Have you been following what is happening over in Hartford's city hall?

Well if you're a taxpaying property owner;
you need to wake up &
start asking some questions
of your mayor & town council
(especially if they are democrats)
because many have already gone on record volunteering YOU & Your Family
to pay higher taxes
so that you can pay for
HARTFORD's money mismanagement, & decades of corruption...

YES That's Right ...

You Don't get to VOTE in Hartford
but YOUR TAXES will be going up
so that YOU can Pay
"Your Fair Share"
of Hartford's Mismanaged "Bills"!

You won't have a voice in how that money is misspent (that's what they do there)
BUT each year
Your Family will have Less & Less
while #BrokeBronin & his cohorts
get to Spend More & More

If you Do Not Speak Up Now
Then YOU subject your family forever
to the whims of the corruption going on down in Hartford's city halls...
More backroom failed stadium deals
More tax increases to pay higher salaries
More tax increases to pay for more scandals

The choice is yours
Speak Up NOW...
 or
Forever be subjected
to the continued mismanagement &
added tax increases circle

Can YOUR Family Afford to Pay More Taxes for Hartford's Money Mismanagement?

SB422 Keep CT Water in CT_v2

Just a reminder of what is happening in our government at both the town level & state...

CT Our Water is about to be Stolen.
Men & Women have conspired to give our water away at bargain basement prices to a corporation while raising our rates & risking running our wells dry.

Special On African American Conservatives - 4-8-13

Hannity had a special on air back in 2013 after Dr Ben Carson first got the attention of the public after he spoke against the policies of the democrats during a presidential breakfast.

That speech brought Dr Carson to the nation's attention because the left's talking heads went on air & publicly assassinated his character because he dared to speak up for old fashioned black family values on a national platform.

The group of Black Conservatives spoke about the history of racism & the attacks by the democrats upon any black that dares to not follow lock step with their oppressive plans for the blacks in the USA. The need for our community to have "Political" & "Financial" education so that we can gain power as black families.

The sad commentary that I would add in answering the question about why does the black community keep voting for the democrats rather than republicans as they used to do in the past, is that in recent years after so many years of allowing the democrats to tell the lies that the republicans are afraid to go into the communities where they need to be.

It is a self fulfilling prophecy when the republicans say why bother going into the community when they do not vote for us & the community of course is saying why should we vote for you when you are not coming to our community?

Isn't it time to spend some time getting to know each other & exchanging ideas & talking about the needed solutions to the problems? Quitting is NOT an option just because it is hard work & it's going to be difficult.

August End of Month Money Bomb

We're coming to the end of the month & the start of the heavy election season

We need your assistance to fight the Taxing Tyrants in Hartford.

Will you help us with a donation of $20.16 or more in our fight against the #TaxingTyranny of the democrats in our capitol hill?

These career politicians are well funded & working hard to keep their positions of power over us. We are working towards bringing some sanity to our crazy capitol hill.

The career politicians have lost touch with the reality of what they do up there on capitol hill is hurting our families every day.

Do they think we all have money trees growing in our yards? Taxes are hurting us as we pay increased prices for everything now to start with but on top of that our elected officials have added more taxes.

Oh they love to say it's just a little tax but it's slashing into our family budgets a thousand little slashes everyday.

We need YOUR Help to fight the career politicians in Hartford,

Democrat Rep.: "Have you looked at euthanasia?"

The democrat party is the party of death and destruction... How can a person that is claiming Christ remain in the current democrat party ...
