CT GOP 10-7-14 Press Conference

Reminder about how the CT Democrats have been cheating

This video is from the last governor's race election cycle when Malloy's CT Dems illegally used the DNC money to pay for advertising for the state race.

Why were there UnContested Races in CT in 2016?

I originally wrote this post in 2016 have you noticed any changes to speak of in CT Politics?

Have the RTCs dedicated themselves towards actually doing some things differently?

Maybe even starting with the leadership of those RTCs due to needing to update the local party with new ideas?

Have the campaigns started working TOGETHER instead of only working with "the sure winner" as an attempt to grow the party in CT like is being done in other parts of the country?

Below is a copy and paste of what I originally wrote in 2016...

^*^*^*^*^*^ From 2016 Post ^*^*^*^*^

It is true there are too many UnContested Races in CT's General Assembly this year & in years past & if things do not change this will be the future as well...

The July 21st article in the Hartford Courant  http://www.courant.com/opinion/op-ed/hc-ed-too-many-ct-seats-uncontested-0721-20160720-story.html

points out that "due to apathy" & "lack of leadership" seats are going uncontested during a year when there should be not only full ballots but also high voter turnout since it is a presidential election year

Copied & pasted from the article
"What a shame, then, that more than 25 percent of the House seats will go unchallenged by a major-party candidate, along with four seats in the Senate."

& also this from the article
16 Democrats will run unopposed by a Republican, nearly all of them incumbents, according to preliminary information from the secretary of the state's office. "

Shame on the local party leadership for not running full tickets;
but also shame on the cities & towns people that have not stepped up to run for office.

"We the People" means that each citizen has a responsibility to take some small part in running the country;
That means not just showing up once every couple of years to vote a party line without knowing what the issues are but attending town & even state level meetings at the town halls & state capitol.

What are You going to do to change the "defeatist" attitude that is running rampant in our state?

What are You going to do to help #FlipTheGeneralAssembly ?

A Message To Conservatives - CPAC 2013

This is an older video message...
Addressed to the older Conservative people from the younger Conservative people that was played at CPAC back in 2013...

Sadly that message didn't get out to the majority of the party who still doesn't seem to "Get It"
Too many are still trying to insist upon doing things the way they have always been done...
Which is why in the blue states like CT we're getting the same results that we've always gotten...

Think it's time for a change in how we do things from top to bottom so we might get different results.

It's time now to start considering...
How we are going to approach 2018?
Where are we going to do some things differently?
So that we can have much better results next November when the statewide seats are voted upon...

Blacks voting and supporting Trump

Have you been checking YouTube for examples of who is & who is not supporting the presidential candidates this year?

More importantly asking the question WHY Should You Support a Candidate, look past the party & start looking at the issues that they say they support &

1) Ask does the policy plan "sound good"?

2) Then ask the big questions of "How will it be paid for?"

3) Can YOU Afford to pay for it because Nothing is FREE

September End of Qtr MoneyBomb

We're coming to the end of the month & the end of the fundraising quarter.
We need your assistance to fight the Taxing Tyrants in Hartford.

Will you help us with a donation of $20.16 or more in our fight against the #TaxingTyranny of the democrats in our capitol hill?

These career politicians are well funded & working hard to keep their positions of power over us.
We are working towards bringing some sanity to our crazy capitol hill.
The career politicians have lost touch with the reality of what they do up there on capitol hill is hurting our families every day.
Do they think we all have money trees growing in our yards?

Taxes are hurting us as we pay increased prices for everything now to start with but on top of that our elected officials have added more taxes.
Oh they love to say it's just a little tax but it's slashing into our family budgets a thousand little slashes everyday.

We need YOUR Help to fight the career politicians in Hartford,

End of Mth 2016 MoneyBomb Star RWB

Heritage Action Presidential Forum: Take Back America

As we approach the April 26th Primary date where we in CT will be going to the polls to decide who will be holding the party banner on to victory in November I've decided to remind us of what the candidates had to say in 2015.

So as I find them online I will be posting any & all debates & forums so that you can watch take notes & decide...

Who best represents you & your family's best interests in a responsible manner.
Is your candidate choice still in the running? Be certain to support your candidates during the primary.

Today's presentation is the video of the 5+ hours from the Heritage Action Presidential Forum back in Sept of 2015.

It's not actually a debate because each candidate is on stage by themselves with the moderator & panel on the 2 sides & taking questions from both the panel & the audience.
This gives us time to see what the candidate has to say without all of the debate moderators "gotcha now fight" style questioning which has been rampant in the early 2015 debates looking for ratings & catfights on stage.

The best way to watch this video is really to start playing it minimize the window & then while you're listening do your other work. The first 10 or so minutes are informational about Heritage Action so if you do not know who they are you can watch that prior to minimizing the window.

The video didn't come through so let me try again

Have a Happy ELECTION DAY Party!

To help get your friends & families to the voting booths why not make a party of it?
Carpool together if you are in the same voting district
Have different voting districts that's ok - make the I Voted Sticker the entry for the party
or at least a picture of the voting location if they have run out of stickers

Ask Questions Then Ponder the Answers Windsor Voters

I was watching the people who came in & went into the polling station in Windsor on Tuesday May 12th
& it was interesting to see just how many people who showed up to vote actually didn't even know why they were there & what the answers would mean if they made one of 2 choices

A YES vote = Higher Taxes due to the Board of Ed's Outrageous Spending

A No Vote = There has to be a new look at the budget by the Town Council & Board of Ed

Have you taken the time to look at the budget & question the items which the Board of Ed has  demanded for us to pay & asked "WHY"?

Do you know what our Board of Ed is spending the money on? Take a minute to consider what Jonathan Pelto (a democrat) has to say about what is happening across the state in regards to the expensive, abusive, experimental program called Common Core...
"So Connecticut parents and taxpayers;
When you are being abused or hearing about children and parents being abused and harassed for opting out of the unfair and discriminatory Common Core SBAC test or when you are paying more in taxes and watching important school programs and services cut, now that thanks to our elected and appointed  officials we are pissing away $100,000,000.00 a year forcing children to take a test that will tell us that students from rich families tend to do better and student from poor families tend to do worse on standardized tests."
http://jonathanpelto.com/2015/05/14/rich-do-better-poor-do-worse-step-right-up-and-try-your-luck-at-the-sbac-test/

Can you afford an out of control Board of Ed that spends money without consideration of the costs for both our taxpaying families now but also in the future 3, 5 even 10 years down the road?

Can you afford to allow an out of control Board of Ed to experiment with your children's education with implementing programs that do not work & are profiting big corporations but giving our children a substandard education as is being proven time & again with the common core nt only here in Windsor but across the nation?

Can you afford to not start asking questions about why the Board of Ed so divided & why the democrats are refusing to answer the questions that the republican BoE members are asking?

Can you afford to keep granting more & more money to the Board of Ed when they are mismanaging the money they already been given over the years?

If you are tired of paying more & more in taxes while not seeing results in education & reductions in town services then it is time for you to call the town hall & tell them to #StopTheOutOfControlBoardOfEd & make cuts to the budget on the Board of Ed side of the budget & Vote NO until we have a Zero Based Budget that clearly states where the money is being spent & explains exactly where the money is going

#CTPolitics - Are you Paying Attention? #2ndDistrict

As I'm going around the 2nd District I am amazed at how many young people are not paying any attention to what is going on in our cities & towns.

Most of those who aren't paying attention have never attended a single Public Meeting at the Town Hall
About 1/3rd of those I've spoken to weren't registered to vote but were actually able to get registered

The majority of those who are registered to vote they only vote for the Presidential elections...
I confess when I was young & single & a renter I did fall into the category of voting only in the "big elections"
I went out to vote for president & if I remembered I went out to vote for the governor but the rest of the time not so much time & energy was paid to make that effort

I know that until we became homeowners that I had never gone out to vote on the budget

It can be discouraging to see & hear so many young people that are disengaged in our political process
I did give a couple of the young people the mail in form to get registered to vote
I hope that they will get out the vote this year

When we fail to Vote we Lose Our Voice in what is happening
So I hope that as we are in the last few weeks prior to elections you will get active in paying attention to the events
Get educated on the issues & #GOTV Get Out The Vote

#CT #YouHaveAChoice you can chose the status quo or you can become part of the #CTComeBack
Chose to go in a #NewDirection & vote for a #FreshNewStart

Social Media Connections

Where are you in the Social Media world?

I think that one reason that people are so disconnected from the elected people is due to not being connected to them on a more personal level so there is no accountability between the people being elected & the citizens in our towns

I do want to change this & am looking for the best way to connect with the people in the 2nd District

In addition to this blog which has comments enabled I am on FaceBook & G+ & YouTube

I have opened up a 24/7 voicemail so that regardless of the time of day someone can call & leave me a message about what they think is a problem, a suggestion about what we should work on to improve life for all of us & any money saving ideas that we can look into & any potential fraud that might be needing to get looked at

Leave us some comments & let us get connected
Go ahead & give me a call 641-715-3900 ext 327977#

#YouHaveAChoice CT State Senate 2nd District

Are you tired of the career politicians not listening to you?

Would you like to have common sense restored to our state?

Are you tired of your taxes going up faster than your income?

Are you part of the political elite 1% class?

Then don't you feel that we need to get out of the cycle of electing rich attorneys & career politicians that make laws that raise our taxes & hurt our families?

You Have a Choice, by electing a woman who is part of "We the People" & has gotten tired of  the political elite ruling over us.
Your clear choice is to elect Theresa Tillett to be your state senator to represent You & Your Family's Best Interests.

You Have a Choice, subscribe & connect via social media so we can discuss what we can do TOGETHER to get our state back to being the Prosperous State that it used to be.

Democrat Rep.: "Have you looked at euthanasia?"

The democrat party is the party of death and destruction... How can a person that is claiming Christ remain in the current democrat party ...
